Your privacy is extremely important to us.
Collecting some anonymous data on the users of the Barcy Red trails is very useful in aggregate form, and allows us to keep the trails free and constantly improving. Mobile App usage data is a part of this process

The Data we collect

All the data we collect is anonymous. We simply collect a count of the times the mobile app is used daily.

Location data

We collect no user location data. Enabling location in the app simply allows the user to see where they are on the trail network, as well as find local services: restaurants, accommodation, service stations, etc.

How this data is used

Aggregate data is used for external funding purposes. For example, showing the popularity of the trails can be very useful.

Who we share this data with

Any data we collect is only shared with third parties for funding purposes. We never share individual information.
